Live Arts Miami is Proud to Launch:
THE FUTURE ARTIST FELLOWSHIP 2024/2025
Featuring: Natasha Tsakos
Live Arts Miami is excited to introduce the Future Earth Artist Fellowship for the 2024/2025 season, a groundbreaking initiative designed to propel the fusion of art and technology. This fellowship, inspired by our Future Earth Fall Series, provides a pioneering artist with the unique chance to develop innovative work in collaboration with Miami-Dade College, Live Arts, and the greater Miami community. Throughout the academic year, the Future Earth Artist Fellow will engage with faculty and students, utilizing MDC’s cutting-edge facilities and state-of-the-art technology, including AI Centers, Makers Labs, and media production studios, to explore new creative pathways that push the boundaries of contemporary art.
The Future Earth Artist Fellowship aims to foster innovation, collaboration, and community engagement. The chosen Fellow will be supported with a $10,000 stipend and given a platform to showcase their work, contributing thought leadership on the integration of emerging technologies in the arts. In addition to leading up to three campus engagements and public workshops, the Fellow will participate in key public speaking opportunities, including the Miami Book Fair, and collaborate with departments like the New World School of the Arts and the Honors College. This fellowship represents an exceptional opportunity to be at the forefront of the evolving intersection of art and technology, ensuring Miami’s creative ecosystem remains vibrant and forward-thinking.
