Live Arts Miami’s Live On Site initiative expands and redefines all notions of the live arts stage. It pulls back the curtain on traditional performance settings and venues. Bursts open the theater doors to let the live arts breathe. Site-specific dance, music and theater performances created by the best local, national and international performing artists of the day, presented in unique and unexpected locations throughout Miami such as abandoned warehouses and local bars, empty parking lots and city streets brimming with bumper to bumper traffic, public parks and sunny beaches, college classrooms and student lounges, and so many more!

At a time when the live arts are being radically transformed by the advent of the global coronavirus pandemic, Live On Site offers a novel solution to the devastating closure of many traditional live arts venues and settings: a limitless stage, untethered from the vagaries of the physical live arts venue, Live On Site serves as a new stage for new times. It’s site-specific live arts culture, audience- and site-unexpected.
