As part of the MUNDO live music series, Rhythm Foundation and Live Arts Miami present El Laberinto del Coco on Saturday, July 19 at 8:00 PM at the Miami Beach Bandshell.

Led by Puerto Rican percussionist Héctor “Coco” Barez (formerly of Calle 13), El Laberinto del Coco blends Afro-Caribbean rhythms with spoken word, jazz, and contemporary sounds. Drawing from the traditions of bomba and plena, the project explores the intersections of heritage, identity, and social commentary through powerful percussion-driven performance.

El Laberinto del Coco has earned acclaim for their dynamic live shows and innovative approach to traditional forms. This Miami Beach performance brings their bold, high-energy sound to South Florida for a one-night-only appearance.

Come hungry—food and drinks will be available for purchase. The Miami Beach Bandshell is an open-air, covered venue, so the show goes on, rain or shine. See you there!

This show is part of our MUNDO series, bringing together Miami’s diverse communities in a celebration of global cultures. By welcoming international artists to the crossroads of the Americas, MUNDO fosters cross-cultural dialogue through electrifying performances and interactive workshops.
