ECOCULTURA FEST
WHERE ART MEETS ACTION
AT HISTORIC VIRGINIA KEY BEACH PARK
Celebrate the 50th anniversary of Earth Day at ECOCULTURA FEST, a free community festival for the whole family by MDC Live Arts featuring:
- Live performances
- Action-driven community dialogues
- Art activations
- Local music and food
- Interactive experiences
- Hands-on service opportunities and so much more.
ECOCULTURA FEST will gather organizations and artists working for climate justice in South Florida for an all-day, action-driven, program of exciting events and activities for the community.
The festival kicks off with Baynanza‘s 38th anniversary Biscayne Bay Cleanup Day, which celebrates the significance of our most important ecological systems in South Florida through concrete community action, and will close with National Water Dance, the renowned “movement choir” dance project founded by Miami-based choreographer Dale Andree performed simultaneously across the United States.
We live in one of the nation’s most vulnerable regions to climate change but the sea isn’t the only thing rising.
Join the movement for climate justice and celebrate art’s role in our changing world.
